Consultation
An in-home Consultation is the first step for every project. This meeting allows us to collaborate on an initial plan. I will get to know you, your family, your home and your lifestyle. We will tour the home, brainstorm ideas, and I will share design tips on how to best reinvent your space on your budget. We can also review any inspiration boards to help us define your style. By the end of the meeting, we will have a signed Proposal and a strategy on how to move forward with your project.
Design
Your initial Consultation will clarify the type of design services needed whether it's a small design hours package or full-service design. Once a Proposal has been signed, the Design process begins. This process typically consists of several steps: Design Development (which includes drawings or schematics, material selection and presentation, and mood boards), Purchasing (which includes raw and finished materials, furnishings, and decor), and Installation (which includes contractor/vendor scheduling, delivery, and setup). With coordination and follow up at each step of the process, we manage your project and ensure that designs are being executed according to plan.
